Hi, I am a retired American who found this lovely piece of property 18 years ago when I was in good health with the desire to create a retirement home. Unfortunately, Father Time has caught up to me at 81 and due to my knees being severely compromised I am unable to enjoy the property. There are 100 steps from the dock up to the house which makes it difficult even to get to the house let alone taking care of the numerous fruit trees and constant upkeep of the property. My brother-in-law is the caretaker and will look after any future tenets. He lives in the cottage on the property and is available for town errands and any problems with the house. I have numerous deck chairs on numerous viewing decks for tenet enjoyment. It is peaceful, safe and quiet on the island. The only sounds are the boats going back and forth down the channel.
