Check-in went without problems. Gracinda is a very responsive landlord, she was in touch and helped with all questions. Of course, traveling in the off-season is a separate type of adventure. But we are glad that we were in Troy at this time and were able to disconnect from the bustle of the city and relax on the ocean coast.

Tibor is a great host, very communicative, quick to respond to any questions and he does everything to make the tenant feel at home. The apartment is just like in the pictures. It hasn't been renovated in some time so it does have a few quirks and imperfections. The sofabed is more like a folded mattress, although quite comfortable. The apartment was mostly clean when we moved in, although in need of a sightly deeper cleaning in harder to reach areas. The neighborhood and the building is surprisingly quiet in our experience. The apartment faces the inner courtyard, which is unfortunate in the wintertime (lack of light) but probably great in the summer.
Overall we had a lovely stay in Tibor's apartment and we can wholeheartedly recommend it!

Unique, cozy, very sunny and well planned apartment in a quiet area. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary. The beds were comfortable, all kitchen appliances worked well, including the washing machine. TV and Wi-Fi worked well.
Central air conditioning and heating worked great. We visited in December and January, the heating was sufficient.

Prijemne bydleni s peknym vyhledem, kousek od metra i autobusu, dochazkova vzdalenost k obchodum. Optimum pro 2 lidi. Je to 4 patro bez vytahu coz jsem sam za sebe bral jako vyhodu, trocha pohybu navic. Komunikace s majitelem snadna. Byt odpovida popisu.

The well-divided three-room apartment is modern and in very good condition; the two of us lived there for 5 months.
Thanks to the lovely, detailed and tasteful furnishings and decoration, we felt comfortable from the very beginning and after a short time we even felt at home. We often welcomed friends and everyone was very impressed by the beautiful apartment. Also worth mentioning is the good location in a quiet and safe neighborhood, a few meters away there are shopping facilities and a station of the M3. There is also a station of the 4/6 tram not far away, which runs around the clock, as well as the Danube, where you can go for a walk or enjoy the sunset. István was always available by phone or WhatsApp and often asked us how we were doing. He is a thoroughly sympathetic and helpful person who you can always ask for support.

Susana is a wonderful host with great communication and a very warm welcome.
The flat is perfect for 1 or 2 people. Hard wood floors, cute little balcony, a comfy queen size bed and a couch in the living room.
It has a nice table for eating and for remote work.
Super fast fiber WiFi.
We highly recommend Susana and her perfect little flat in Alfama!

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Budapest. Located very close to one of the main spots of Budapest ( 8 min to Astoria by foot).
The overall connectivity was fantastic, due to the Tram and Metro stations nearby.
The apartment itself was surprisingly big and very quite. The kitchen was quite rudimentary, but everything worked well.
All in all was I really happy with the apartment and spending my Erasmus there.

For three months, we lived in this cozy place - my girlfriend, our dog, and I are completely satisfied with the apartment. It exceeded all our expectations! Both of us work as programmers, so it was important to have comfortable working conditions. Luis arranged an excellent workspace with two desks and fast internet. I especially want to emphasize that Luis and his family are some of the most hospitable and pleasant people I've ever met! Throughout these three months, we felt at home. Next time we visit Madeira, we will definitely return here!
