Online agreement in your language. The basis is an agreement concluded in the language of the place of the lease, but the agreement is always translated into English and the most frequently used languages. The agreement is always signed online, so you can conclude it wherever you are in the world.
Guarantee of a trustworthy presentation of the apartment. With Flatio, you may rest assured the apartment looks exactly as presented. And if, by any chance, the condition of the apartment does not match the description in the listing, we will refund your full rent and fees and give you 7 days of free hotel rooms.
Comfortable extension. Do you want to stay longer in the apartment? No problem. If the owner confirms the apartment is available for you, you will extend the agreement online. Similarly, an agreement may be terminated with a simple 30-day notice, once again, online.
All-inclusive price. The rent includes all services, including utilities and Wi-Fi, and it is not charged unless it exceeds 15 % of the rent. This saves you a lot of paperwork at the time of the apartment handover. If a property does not offer Wi-Fi, it is clearly indicated on the listing page.
Always 30 days ahead. Whether you move in at the beginning or half way through the month, the rent paid always covers the 30 days that follow. With Flatio, the “month" always starts with you moving in and you will never pay multiple rents at the same time.
Take photos of the apartment. We recommend that you take photos showing the current condition of the apartment on the first and the last day of the lease and send the pictures to us. The photos, along with a signed handover report, will be of great assistance when dealing with any unpleasant situations we hope will never occur.

The apartment's location at the edge of the historic city center and its proximity to the train station are obviously convenient. Less obvious is the fact that the magnificent regional library (Biblioteca centrale della Regione Siciliana) is about 20 minutes away. You can work there in peace and quiet, popping out for lunch at any one of hundreds of restaurants.
The months we stayed here were among the most intellectually productive of our lives. On weekends, we would explore the old town or take the train to nearby Sicilian destinations.

Kalsa is one of the four districts of historic Palermo. It is culturally rich, ethnically diverse, and has something of an artist’s neighborhood feel. One can already perceive the first signs of gentrification.
You will find yourself walking a lot, both out of necessity (medieval layout with narrow streets) and because the area invites it. The Botanical Gardens and the park at Villa Giulia are close, and offer quiet, contemplative spaces, good for reading or simply clearing your head. The seaside is also nearby, suitable for running or exercising. There is a wide range of restaurants in the area, spanning many price points.
Trattoria Al Sorriso and Trattoria Trapani both offer outstanding and inexpensive Sicilian food.
MadoniEat is excellent for brunch or lunch.
Ristorante Quattro Mani is an elegant option.
