Online agreement in your language. The basis is an agreement concluded in the language of the place of the lease, but the agreement is always translated into English and the most frequently used languages. The agreement is always signed online, so you can conclude it wherever you are in the world.
Guarantee of a trustworthy presentation of the apartment. With Flatio, you may rest assured the apartment looks exactly as presented. And if, by any chance, the condition of the apartment does not match the description in the listing, we will refund your full rent and fees and give you 7 days of free hotel rooms.
Comfortable extension. Do you want to stay longer in the apartment? No problem. If the owner confirms the apartment is available for you, you will extend the agreement online. Similarly, an agreement may be terminated with a simple 30-day notice, once again, online.
All-inclusive price. The rent includes all services, including utilities and Wi-Fi, and it is not charged unless it exceeds 15 % of the rent. This saves you a lot of paperwork at the time of the apartment handover. If a property does not offer Wi-Fi, it is clearly indicated on the listing page.
Always 30 days ahead. Whether you move in at the beginning or half way through the month, the rent paid always covers the 30 days that follow. With Flatio, the “month" always starts with you moving in and you will never pay multiple rents at the same time.
Take photos of the apartment. We recommend that you take photos showing the current condition of the apartment on the first and the last day of the lease and send the pictures to us. The photos, along with a signed handover report, will be of great assistance when dealing with any unpleasant situations we hope will never occur.

Maria, her husband, and her niece were all so helpful, friendly, and accommodating! They were responsive and ensured we had a pleasant stay the month that we were there. Being a few steps away from the beach was amazing and the Pizzeria (Terazza) nearby was always great. About a 25 minute walk to the nearest metro and a 40 minute ride into main Porto (we usually stopped at Trinidade). Maria's place is in a quiet neighborhood and away from the hustle and bustle of the main city but not too far to get to! Grocery stores are about a 45 minute walk or less than 10 minute Bolt ride away.

It is super close to the ocean and beach. Which is perfect if that is what you are looking for.
The metro is about a 20 min walk with 50 min get to the centre of Porto. A car is helpful but we didn't need / use it.
We enjoyed our time and it is as we expected. If you want a more busy life and more entertainment than perhaps a different city is for you.
